  • More people are now addicted to prescription painkillers in the USA than street drugs. Many started taking the drugs for pain control but then became addicted and need more and more as they become tolerant. Ask anyone who works in the medical or pharmacy community.

  • Interesting that we put our animals down to alleviate their suffering but it's illegal to do the same for our human relatives. Often hoped that I would be "put to sleep" if I was suffering terribly from a terminal disease.
